In an effort to promote inclusivity and enhance the experience for all travellers, Tourism Development Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism has organized a workshop on Basic Sign Language for tourist guides.

The workshop aims to equip tourist guides with the necessary skills to communicate effectively with hearing impaired visitors. The two-day workshop ended with certificates presentation to 20 participants. The workshop was jointly organised by the Department of Special Education, Ministry of Education.
